WorldBridge Sport Village in Chroy Changvar Gears Up for SEA Games 2023

The highly anticipated WorldBridge Sport Village (WBSV) development in Chroy Changvar, Phnom Penh, is on track to welcome thousands of athletes for the upcoming SEA Games 2023 in May. Spanning 6 hectares of prime land, this massive project comprises 12 buildings and 265 landed properties.

Recent Milestones and Progress The construction team recently achieved a significant milestone by completing the building structures for all 12 towers and finishing 80% of the decorative work for Tower Two. A topping-off ceremony was held to commemorate this achievement, marking the project's steady progress toward its completion.

Strategic Location and Connectivity Strategically located in the Samdech Techo Dragon City, north of Phnom Penh, WBSV is poised to benefit from the area's rapid growth and development. The surrounding vicinity boasts extensive infrastructure projects, including new bridges and roads, ensuring excellent connectivity. Additionally, the area has seen the establishment of modern hospitals, international schools, gymnasiums, a 5-star golf course, shopping malls, supermarkets, and various entertainment venues.

Investment Potential and Future Growth With its proximity to the Samdech Techo National Stadium along National Road 6A, WorldBridge Sport Village presents an attractive investment opportunity for those seeking to secure their first home or a long-term generational property asset. The area's potential as a vibrant downtown hub in this upcoming satellite city near Phnom Penh is undeniable.

SEA Games 2023: A Catalyst for Growth The 2023 Southeast Asian Games (SEA Games) and the 12th ASEAN Para Games, scheduled for June 2023, are expected to attract a significant influx of domestic and international visitors to the host cities, including Phnom Penh. These prestigious events will not only enhance Cambodia's image on the regional and global stage but also serve as a catalyst for investment and economic growth in the region.

Industry Experts' Perspectives Harry Martin IV, Managing Director of Vanguard Investment and Consultancy Services Co., Ltd (Cambodia), the exclusive property agency for WorldBridge Sport Village, expressed optimism about the market's recovery in 2023. "As most countries in Asia have reopened, we are confident that the market will make a turnaround this year. Cambodia is definitely at the top of the list for potential investment opportunities, thanks to its various regional advantages."

With the successful hosting of the National Games, which served as a test run for the facilities, a sense of pride and anticipation is brewing in Cambodia as it prepares to host these milestone events.
